notice_summary_english: Noosa Shire Council invites tenders from suitably experienced, resourced and qualified suppliers/contractors for appointment to a Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers (ROPS) for the hire of plant and operator (commonly known as Wet Hire) across the Noosa Council local government area as described in more detail in Part 4 - Scope.

Suppliers/contractors are invited to submit a tender for a range of Wet Hire requirements. Specific exclusions include demolition work, road sealing and pavement program, arborist works, turf mowing, quarry equipment operations, temporary fencing. This arrangement does not include the provision for the hire of equipment only (commonly known as Dry Hire).

The ROPS is anticipated to commence on 1 July 2024 and will be for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option of two (2) further extensions of up to two (2) years each at Council’s sole discretion. Inclusion onto this ROPS does not provide a guarantee of work during the term of this Contract.
