Noosa Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced respondents for reconstruction works to replace a culvert with a bridge on Schreibers Road, Cooran. The culvert and nearby infrastructure were damaged by heavy rainfall in February 2022. These are described in more detail in Part 4 – Scope.

All works under contract must be compliant with all relevant Council Policies (https://www.noosa.qld.gov.au/about-council/governance/policies) and in particular Council’s Work Health and Safety Policy.

The anticipated contract award is 15 August 2024 with Practical Completion on or before 16 May 2025.

A site meeting is scheduled onsite nearby property # 269 Schreibers Rd, Cooran, commencing at 8:00 AM on Monday 1 July 2024. While the meeting is optional, attendance is strongly recommended. Please RSVP to [email protected] quoting contract details, meeting date, and names of attendees. The Respondent must inform itself of risks to health and safety arising from attendance at the briefing or site inspection and take all reasonable steps to ensure that such risks are eliminated or, if it is not possible to eliminate them, to minimise them so far as is practicable.
